H1N1 Swine Flu
Clinic Recommendation
The Transplant Clinic has recommended that recipients have the Swine Flu vaccine that has just been made available.
Recipients have preference as they are in the group most at risk and the vaccine is available through their GP who should bulk bill charges to Medicare.
Unlike the yearly ‘Flu Shot’s, only a single dose is required – (NOT 2 shots 6 weeks apart).
y If you have been diagnosed with a positive culture previously you do NOT need the vaccine.u do NOT
THOSE on the waiting list and Carers should also have the vaccine
